| Welcome to
the interactive tour of Engine 1 -- the newest member of the Maumelle Fire
Department fleet. Engine 1 is a 2006 Smeal custom pumper on a Spartan chassis
and has been designed specifically to meed the unique demands that Maumelle
firefighters face. Many of the engine's features are "clickable" in the photos below. Clicking on an area or compartment should send you to a page with a close-up photo detailing that part of the apparatus. The zoomed view includes a listing of equipment carried in many of the engine's compartments. If there is an area that you'd like to see up-close and it's not yet featured, request that it be added to the tour by e-mailing the webmaster.
