| Driver's Side Compartment I | |

The
forward-most compartment on the driver's side is commonly referred to as
the engineer's compartment. A number of hose appliances and fittings are
carried in this compartment that allow the engine to pump through countless
configurations of fire hose. Also carried in this compartment is a positive pressure fan. This fan is used to charge a smoke filled occupancy with clean air, forcing out smoke and noxious gases. Click photo or use your browser's back button to return to Interactive Tour page. |
