SCOTT EATON

After serving as Battalion Chief of C-Shift since October 2015, Chief Eaton became Fire Marshal for the City of Maumelle in July 2020 and was named Interim Chief of Department in January 2022. 

Chief Eaton joined the Fire Division of the Maumelle Department of Public Safety on July 12, 2004. He became a founding member of the Maumelle Fire Department upon its creation on December 20, 2004. He was promoted to the rank of Captain in November 2008 and the rank of Division Chief on October 3, 2015. Chief Eaton previously served two separate two-month appointments as Interim Division Chief in 2014. Chief Eaton has been awarded two Meritorious Service Awards for Lifesaving, the Ten-Year Good Conduct Awards and was the 2006 Maumelle Firefighter of the Year. Chief Eaton holds the Executive Fire Officer certification from the National Fire Academy.

Although her service to the City of Maumelle dates back to 2009, Cindy Miller has served as the Administrative Assistant for the Maumelle Fire Department since April 2011. In this role, she is the face of the fire department while greeting members of the public at Station 1. Additionally, she is responsible for many administrative duties including managing payroll and accounts payble.
