Former Volunteer Firefighters

The service of volunteer firefighters in Maumelle -- neighbors helping neighbors -- predates our current fire department, the Department of Public Safety that preceded the MFD and even the incorporation of the city itself. Citizens have volunteered to serve their community as firefighters since its early stages of development as a planned "New Town" in the 1970s.

Unforuntately, no comprehensive or official listing has been maintained to record the dozens of men and woman who have served as volunteers. This page has been created so that future generations will not be without such a record and so they will be able to reflect and honor the service of our volunteers.

On this page, you will find a listing of all former volunteers with at least one year of service who have retired or resigned since the creation of the independent Maumelle Fire Department was created on December 20, 2004.
