While
members tend to the injured driver, other firefighter are busy mitigating
the many hazards of a motor vehicle accident. Probationary Firefighter Patrick
McIntire pours absorbent material on leaking auto fluids while Engineer Jeremy
New prepares to disconnect the automobile's battery. If left connected, the
battery could allow air bags inside the car to activate and injure both
firefighters and the patient.
