This 1974 Hendrickson
pumper served as a reserve pumper for the department for seven months in
late 2005 and early 2006. The pumper was equipped with a 1,000 gallon booster
tank and a 1,00 gpm two-stage pump.
This piece of apparatus was rented from the Gravel Ridge Volunteer Fire
Department, where it had seen duty as Engine 71, after near-constant mechanical
problems often reduced the Maumelle fleet to only one pumping
apparatus. |
