Chief Beau Buford became the third permanent Chief of the Maumelle Fire Department on August 1, 2022. He previously served in the North Little Rock Fire Department for 29 years rising to the rank of the Assistant Chief.

Although her service to the City of Maumelle dates back to 2009, Cindy Miller has served as the Administrative Assistant for the Maumelle Fire Department since April 2011. In this role, she is the face of the fire department while greeting members of the public at Station 1. Additionally, she is responsible for many administrative duties including managing payroll and accounts payble.
