SCOTT EATON

After serving as Battalion Chief of C-Shift since October 2015, Chief Eaton became Fire Marshal for the City of Maumelle in July 2020. 

Chief Eaton joined the Fire Division of the Maumelle Department of Public Safety on July 12, 2004. He became a founding member of the Maumelle Fire Department upon its creation on December 20, 2004. He was promoted to the rank of Captain in November 2008 and the rank of Division Chief on October 3, 2015. Chief Eaton previously served two separate two-month appointments as Interim Division Chief in 2014. Chief Eaton has been awarded two Meritorious Service Awards for Lifesaving, the 15-Year Good Conduct Awards and was the 2006 Maumelle Firefighter of the Year. Chief Eaton holds the Executive Fire Officer certification from the National Fire Academy. He also served as Interim Fire Chief from January-August 2022.

Captain Tim Bullard became the city's first Deputy Fire Marshal in January 2017. He joined the Fire Division of the Maumelle Department of Public Safety in October 1998 and was promoted to the rank of Captain in 2004. He became a founding member of the Maumelle Fire Department upon its creation on December 20, 2004.  Captain Bullard is a ten-time recipient of the Meritorious Service Award for Lifesaving. He has received the 15-year Good Conduct Award, was the 2002 Firefighter of the Year and has been recognized in five unit citations. He holds a Master of Science degree in Emergency Services Management from Columbia Southern University.
