Tower Company 2 was organized on January 7, 2017 in the quarters of Engine Company 2 at 4101 Club Manor Drive. The Maumelle Fire Department has staffed a ladder truck with a minimum of one driver since 2014. After initially staffing Truck 1 at the Millwood Circle station, personnel were moved to Station 1 on Murphy Drive when Tower 2 went online December 24, 2014.

Tower 2 serves city-wide on fires, alarms & motor vehicle accidents and responds to single-company calls if Engine 2 is already on assignment. The company consists of eight firefighters across three shifts. This staffing allows for a minimum of two firefighters on duty per day.

The firefighters of Tower Company 2 staff a 2014 Sutphen 100-foot Tower Ladder from quarters near the intersection of Odom Blvd. & Club Manor Drive. This station location gives them easy access to neighborhoods throughout the city.
