Scott Liberty II mobile light & air trailer. The Mobile Air Unit is equipped
to provide lighting and a practically endless supply of breathing air on
the scene of extended incidents. The trailer is equipped with four large
air storage cylinders, a 7.2kW generator and a telescoping light tower with
four 500 watt lights.
The Mobile Air Unit is currently equipped to be towed by
Brush 1 when needed. In addition to serving
the City of Maumelle, the department is ready to respond with the Mobile
Air Unit to any mutual aid department that requests it. The trailer was funded
through a federal FIRE Act grant that allowed for the modernization and
standardization of the department's breathing air equipment. |
